Mobile, AL: Alabama Contemporary Art Center is shifting the way we connect through the arts in this time of social distancing. With mass cancellations and our doors closed we’ve had to rethink how we fulfill our mission, and figure out new ways to meet the community where they are. We are starting by re-allocating funds for small commissions of artwork to send to people who need a little light in their life right now.

Join us Saturday March 28, 2020 as If You Have Ghost artist, Kate Nartker, discusses her work and processes she uses to achieve a unique blend of contemporary and traditional fiber techniques.

Camp Expression at Alabama Contemporary Art Center gives teens (ages 13-17) the opportunity to explore contemporary art, their ideas, and themselves through a broad range of creative media.

Calling all joiners and those who've already taken the plunge! Try us on for the night, we're pretty sure you'll like it... A membership rally featuring Food, Booze and Moves. One night only, Members get free entrance PLUS two free drink tickets. We’re hoping this is a long term thing- but just in case it isn’t, we'll make sure to enjoy it.
