Alabama Contemporary Art Center has come together with Mobile Arts Council and Mobile Museum of Art to relaunch the Teaching Artist Project.
This project began in 2016 as a collaborative effort between our arts organizations to create a database of teaching artists who would become known as "floating faculty".
ACAC, Mobile Arts Council, and Mobile Museum of Art hire artists as independent contractors to teach classes and workshops in every discipline. Connect with paid teaching opportunities based on your practice.
HOW TO APPLY
Any artist interested in teaching their craft through education programming at any of our three organizations should fill out our form. All three entities will have access to the information submitted through the form.

When you apply, you will be asked to upload:
- Examples of work
- A lesson plan/project
- Your CV/Resume
