HACC Block Party

Join us for the third annual Block Party, a public event and open house at the Historic Avenue Cultural Center built around exploring and reflecting on the history of the Avenue. Throughout the day there is a killer lineup of musicians, performers, speakers, educators, food, a selection of historic films and art activities.

Along with honoring the Avenue’s past, we will look to the future with a sneak peak at the upcoming Ace Theatre restoration project – future home of the Excelsior Band – as well as an update on the Civil Rights and Cultural Heritage District Plan. 

The HACC Block Party will take place at 564 Dr MLK Avenue on Saturday, November 7, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
