Ever wished you could create your own set of bowls and mugs to share delicious meals with family and friends?  This class will push you through your week. Learn the basics of wheel-throwing in this 6-week beginners' ceramics class with ceramics artist Jenny Williams.

Start the spring by learning the basics of sculpture in clay with ceramic artist Mary Cave. Create beautiful ceramic vases using hand-building techniques such as slab, coil, and modeling.

Learn about the history of Cyanotypes while enjoying an afternoon of exploration, experimentation, and creative expression. Participants will create up to five 9"x12" sun prints of their own which can be the perfect gift, print, greeting card, or gift tag.

Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Instructor: Kyle Miller In this Thursday night beginners’ ceramics class, instructor Kyle Miller guides students through introductory handbuilding techniques – pinch pot, slab, coil, and beginner sculpture – to create functional ceramic ware.

Monday & Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Instructor: Rachel Wright In this glass fusing workshop with Rachel Wright, you will make your own jewelry pieces using colored glass powders and different shapes that will give radiance and richness in your project.

Join exhibiting artist Sally Heller in a workshop assembling flora using your own brand of handy-work: twisting, knotting, or weaving small elements into unknown floral-like entities. Materials include: pipe cleaners, scraps of styrofoam, yarn, wiffle balls, beads, needles, thread, wire and other bits.

Saturday, 1 - 4 p.m. Instructor: Micah Mermilliod Discover lumen prints, a camera-less photographic process where you will create unique photographic images using black and white photographic paper, objects, and light. In this 3-hr. class students will learn about the history of lumen printing, then experiment with the printing process.
