PARTNER
Alabama Contemporary Art Center partners with likeminded organizations across the State of Alabama.
As a museum without walls, we pride ourselves in being a good partner. We bring exhibitions and programming to our partners based on localized needs, and we site high caliber contemporary art projects based on social relevance. We can work with any site and no arts background is needed to work with us.
PLACEMAKING
For What a Building Can Be
We work with community advocates and non-arts organizational partners across the state as a ‘placemaker’ to help make blighted property into new cultural assets.
PLACEMAKING
TRAVELING EXHIBTIONS
For Galleries and Museums
We work with artists to focus on complete ‘bodies of work’ that have something vital to contribute to the conversation on Southern Identity.

ALABAMA AIR
Artist Residency Sites
We help activate residency sites all over the state, to bring in artists who want to participate in local storytelling, engage with history, and contribute to the current issues and lived experience of a place.
