Led by Back to Havana artist Daniel Rodriguez Garcia and local printmaker Ramon Deanda, this two-day workshop explores the unique printmaking and engraving techniques practiced at Havana’s Taller Experimental de Gráfica, combining traditional methods with innovative applications and materials.

Daniel Rodriguez García (b. 1971, Havana) lives and works in Havana where he is Director of the Taller de Gráfica Experimental at Kcho Estudio Romerillo and Engraving Workshop Specialist at the Taller Experimental de Grafica. Created using lithography, intaglio, woodcut and collagraphy, Rodriguez’s works have been the subject of solo exhibitions at Galería Hotel Ambos Mundos, Havana and Galería Espacio de Arte del Café Bar Habana, Lima.

Recent group presentations and fairs include Alabama Contemporary Art Center, 2017; III Encuentro Nacional de Colografía Belkis Ayón, Cienfuegos, 2017; Casa de la Primera Imprenta de América, Mexico, 2016; Taller Experimental de Gráfica, Havana, 2016; XII Bienal de La Habana, 2015; Casa de México, Havana, 2015; Instituto Cervantes de Roma, Rome, 2014.
