Cryptids of the Deep South

Join Alabama Contemporary at Mobile Museum of Art for a presentation and discussion in honor of current exhibition, Handle With Care, that explores and reflects on the urban legends, mythology and cryptids of the Deep South. This program will begin with a presentation by ACAC Curator of Programs, Nikki Grimes, about these myths that stick around in our consciousness. We will then be joined by Dr. Raoul Richardson and Dr. Philip Carr for a Q&A where we will dig into mysticism in the context of our region. Our presentation begins at 6 P.M. in the auditorium at Mobile Museum of Art and is free to attend. Your questions, curiosity and conspiracy theories are not only welcome but encouraged
