Cryptids of the Deep South Panel

Join Alabama Contemporary at Mobile Museum of Art for a panel discussion in honor of current exhibition, Handle With Care, that explores and reflects on the urban legends, mythology and cryptids of the Deep South. The panel includes insights from Mobile Carnival Museum Curator and architectural historian, Cart Blackwell, professor of Anthropology, Dr. Philip Carr, and Kimberly McKeand, Director of Marketing & Media for Aids Alabama South and one of the media experts behind the sensational Crichton Leprechaun. Moderated by Aalabama Contemporary’s Curator of Programs, Nikki Grimes, this panel is free to attend. Your questions, curiosity and conspiracy theories are not only welcome but encouraged.
