Can you shoot a winning selfie? Enter the ‘Back to Havana’ Art Selfie Contest this Friday!

The rules: Tag #backtohavana and use the location Alabama Contemporary Art Center. Selfies must feature an artwork and be taken at or before LoDa Artwalk, November 10th.

The judge: Terrance DeShaun Smith has dedicated the past decade to developing community programs that guide and mentor Mobile’s youth in order to minimize high school dropout rates and cultivate positive expressions of manhood in young boys. He also just happens to be one of Alabama’s most prolific selfie enthusiasts! Smith is Bloomberg Philanthropies I-Team Mobile Project Manager, creator of Pop Up Mobile, and former program manager of Mobile Area Education Foundation’s ‘Evening Educational Options Program.’

The prize: The Art Selfie Contest winner will receive an Alabama Contemporary Reciprocal Membership. Includes full membership privileges for 2 adults, 4 one-time guest passes, and free admission and member discounts at over 850 museums nationwide.
