Photo Manipulation Kids Studio at Mobile Public Library

Back to Havana artist Daniel Rodriguez Garcia will lead a photo-manipulation activity combining traditional drawing materials with digital photography to explore the role of art in expression, culture, and storytelling.

Kids Studio at the Ben May Main Library offers a series of idea based art-making classes for children ages 8-13, taught by local artist educators. These classes are free and open to the public.

This event is part of Havana Printmaking Week, when Rodriguez returns to Mobile for a series of events and workshops designed to explore Cuban culture through his innovative approach to storytelling through print. This fun and educational week features activities for all ages including a Two-Day Experimental Printmaking Workshop (Buy tickets), a special Photo Manipulation Kid’s Studio at Mobile Public Library and Papermaking Senior Studio, and a Live Demonstration at LoDA Artwalk.
