Alabama Contemporary’s next major nine-month exhibition and community initiative features multimedia works by fifteen of Cuba’s foremost contemporary artists and explores Cuban culture through the categories of Home & Family, Play & Recreation, Travel & Transportation, Communications & Technology, and Dreams.

Contemporary Cuban Engraving from 1990 to 2015

Investigate the role of printmaking in contemporary Cuban art through the works of well-known Cuban printmakers such as Belkis Ayon, Ibrahim Miranda, Sandra Ramos, Abel Barroso, Zenen Vizcaíno, Alejandro Sainz, Norberto Marrero, Jannette Brossard, and Jesús Hernández.
