Bring your personality out and learn to express yourself through theatre and acting! Camp is held Monday through Friday; the week will end with a theatre skit performance featuring the characters created by the campers.

This camp is held Monday, July 15th through Friday, July 19th from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the option to add our new After Camp care program from 3:30 to 5 p.m.; the camp ends on Friday featuring performances by the campers. Sick policy:

  • If a child has a temperature over 100°F, they will have to return home and cannot return to camp until they are healthy.
  • If a child is hurt during camp, we will provide first aid as needed and call their guardian if the injury requires it. If a child has a temperature above 100, is vomiting, has diarrhea, or is suspected of having any contagious disease, the camper will have to be taken home and cannot remain at camp.
  • Medical treatment will be obtained for a child should an injury or other emergencies occur that the camp staff feels needs specialized attention. In case of an emergency, the guardian will be contacted immediately.

Discipline:

  • Camp should be a meaningful educational experience for all children/teens: we use redirection and positive reinforcement to help maintain consistent desired behavior in the campers and to nurture the creativity of each camper.
  • Camp rules will be established on the first day of camp and will be repeated every day. If a camper is not complying with the rules, they will be given a warning, on the second warning the student will be removed from an unwanted situation and placed in a neutral location accompanied by a camp counselor or by the curator of education. The third incidence of infringement of camp rules will mean that the camper will be taken to the Curator of Education’s Office, where we will contact the campers’ guardian and determine how the situation will be handled.
  • Any camper who is physically violent toward another child or staff may be asked to leave for the remainder of the camp day. Such incidents will be assessed on an individual basis.
