We are very excited to introduce an option to commission a postcard, as part of our continuing micro-commission efforts. Any postcard submitted to Postcards from Quarantine can be commissioned for a print run of 75 postcards. The cost to commission a postcard is $100, $50 will go to the artist and $50 towards printing (≈$40) and postage (≈$10). You, the artist, and The Store at ACAC will get 25 postcards each.
We aren’t putting a limit on how many times any postcard can be commissioned and winning designs still count. We will be formatting each design for print– because that can be labor intensive in bulk, and small batch printing is expensive we are only processing orders every two weeks. The first orders will be processed May 7th, with another week or two for printing, sorting and mailing- so plan for a 4-week turnaround.
