SUMMARY:Ex Tabula Rasa
DESCRIPTION:Sally Heller is a multi-material based artist who creates recog
nizable yet improbable landscapes constructed from cultural detritus. A mo
dern-day bricoleur\, savvy cultural hacker and urban archaeologist\, Helle
r assembles a litany of mundane materials and cultural castoffs into recog
nizable yet improbable environments that cleverly fuse macro and micro\, a
rchitectural and organic\, artifice and nature.
